Welcome to Franklinton, North Carolina! We’re so excited to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with you in this charming historic town just north of Raleigh.

Our wedding will take place at The Carolina Manor House, a beautiful historic estate originally built in the early 1900s as the home of Dr. J.H. Harris, a local physician. Today, the restored Queen Anne-style manor rests among ten acres of towering oak trees, blending historic character with timeless Southern elegance.

The manor holds an especially meaningful connection to our story. As two nurses whose paths first crossed on a hospital unit, we couldn’t imagine a more fitting place to begin our forever. What began in nursing school has brought us here, surrounded by the history, charm, and beauty of this special place.

With its roots dating back to 1842 and a history shaped by the railroad, textile industry, and close-knit community, Franklinton offers a little glimpse of North Carolina’s Southern heritage. Whether you’re traveling from nearby or making a weekend of it, we hope you’ll enjoy the town’s charm as much as we do.
